As a biologist who has worked in Greece for over 15 years, I have concentrated in photographing much of the country's nature. You can find many landscapes, animals and plants (including many unique species), in the "Greek Nature" gallery. This work has also been published in WWF's book "40 Natural Paradises" (see Publication gallery) and can be found in all major bookstores of Greece.

As a photographer I also have a great interest in people and the way they interact with each other and with their home, the Earth. I travel much in order to photograph different lands and cultures, but I also enjoy taking photos of weddings, baptises, newborns, etc., which are moments of great joy for everybody.

Today, I feel particularly excited to see people united around the world standing up to ask for a new world. All my work as a conservationist and photographer has been based on the firm belief that we need to get more respectful of each other and of our environment. This time of shift has now come, and I am very happy to try to contribute to it with my pictures.

After the successful photo exhibition and book sale held in Athens and Pylos in 2010, I decided to offer books and large format prints for sale on this website. Prints of the gallery "Greek Nature in black and white" and of my books - including the latest and most awaited "40 Natural Paradises", can be now ordered using the "Option & Prices" button found above the pictures in the galleries. If you have a Paypal account you can immediately proceed with the order and checkout, otherwise you can contact me first.
