As a biologist who has lived in Greece for over 14 years, I have concentrated in photographing much of the country's wildlife and landscapes. You can find many landscapes, animals and plants (including many unique species), in the "Greek Nature" gallery. This work has also been published in the book "40 Natural Paradises" (see Publication gallery) in 2008, and can be found in all major bookstores of Greece.

As a photographer I also have a great interest in people and the way they interact with each other and with their home, the Earth. I travel as much as I can to photograph different lands and cultures, but I also enjoy taking photos of weddings, baptises, newborns, etc., which are moments of great joy for everybody. And I also feel a need to taking pictures of more difficult moments, such as the recents riots in Athens, because I feel that these are moments of historical importance, signs of the need for a change in our society. All my work has been based on the feeling that we need to get more respectful of each other and of our environment. So I try to contribute to this also by taking pictures of social problems.

After the successful photo exhibition and book sale held in Athens in may 2010 and at Gialova and Kalamata in 2008, I decided to offer books and large format prints for sale on this website. Prints of the gallery "Greek Nature in black and white" and of my books - including the latest and most awaited "40 Natural Paradises", can be now ordered using the "Option & Prices" button found above the pictures in the galleries. If you have a Paypal account you can immediately proceed with the order and checkout, otherwise you can contact me first.
